This Privacy Policy outlines how GCP Automation Studio ("we," "our," or "the application") handles Google user data. We operate under strict principles of data minimization, transparent usage, and high-level security.

1. Google User Data We Access

Our application requests only the minimum necessary Google OAuth permissions required to deliver user-initiated automation features. We access the following data:

Google Drive & File Data: Files (such as CSVs, PDFs, and Spreadsheets) that you explicitly choose to upload, process, format, or save using the application.
Basic Account Identity: Your email address and basic profile information solely to authenticate your session and manage access permissions.
Temporary Session Metadata: Transient file names and MIME types required to process data during active sessions.

2. How We Use Google User Data

Accessed Google user data is used exclusively to provide direct application functionality, specifically:

Parsing, transforming, and formatting user-uploaded data files (e.g., CSV journal entries, report standardization, document utilities).
Writing and saving finalized files back to your Google Drive upon your explicit instruction.
Maintaining secure user authentication sessions.

Strict Prohibitions: We do not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties. We do not use your Google user data for advertising (including personalized or targeted ads). We do not use your data to train generalized machine learning or AI models.

3. Data Protection and Security Mechanisms

We implement robust technical and organizational safeguards to protect sensitive user data:

Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser, our application, and Google API servers is strictly encrypted using HTTPS / TLS 1.2 or higher.
Encryption at Rest: Any temporary operational data processed within Google Cloud infrastructure is secured with standard AES-256 encryption.
In-Memory Processing: Processing occurs in transient memory during your active session; we do not copy or store your file contents on external third-party servers.
Restricted Access: No human staff has access to the contents of your private files or documents.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Zero Persistent Storage: We do not retain copies of your Google files or personal data on external databases. All operational data is purged immediately after your file processing task completes.
User-Controlled Deletion: Any output files saved to your Google Drive remain under your complete control and can be deleted by you at any time.
Revoking Access: You can revoke our application's access to your Google Account at any time via your Google Account Permissions Settings. Upon revocation, all authorization tokens are immediately invalidated.

5. Google API Limited Use Disclosure

GCP Automation Studio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
